Rockola Regis 1495 - magazine turns continually

Hi all, I have a 1495 which has recently developed a problem where the magazine turns continually and won't stop. It still allows selections, and plays, but then goes back to continual turning. I have the maintenance manual but it's not obvious from that what the problem may be. Anybody come across this before?

Also there are about half a dozen selections that just won't play, I am sure this is a regular issue but if you can point me in the right direction that would be great (I'm a forum newbie).

For the magazine rotating, the scan control system is described on page 18 and shown in the parts list on page 68 - it will likely just be sticking. The selections that don't play are likely to be a bigger issue. You could try exercising these pins and brushing the sliding part with a clean dry brush to get rid of any dust or residue that may be the cause. Don't spray anything there though. But this may require stripping down of the selector unit to properly resolve, not a job for the novice!
