Hi have an NSM II ES 160 Festival Jukebox and it displays "Err 3" when I try programing... It was working before but suddenly stopped...When powered on it display shows "Err 1". Opening the lid the displays shows "PP" (correct), but pressing the 0 button displays "C0" (instead of expected "CE"). If I close and reopen the lid (keeping it powered on) the displays switches correctly to display "PP" and pressing the 0 button displays "CE" (correct). It will then allow me to enter the Passkey "00000" (correct) to enter programing mode (correct). However at the first "C0" programing step when I try to enter the first Programing info "02501" it displays "Err 3". I have also noticed that when I try to display (Read) the stored programed steps ("C0" to "C9") they all display "000 0". I suspect EAROM ER-1400 on the Control Board might be faulty... is the any way to test the chip or another fault that might cause this? Any Help much appreciated... Thanks, Paul.

I'm afraid that I can't help you, I've never delved that deeply into the CCU other than replace peripheral chips. I think there might be a dedicted NSM Facebook group where you might receive more assistance - if you can survive Facebook that is!
Norman.

Thanks for your reply Norman, Seen a similar fault on a French site here flipjuke.fr/viewtopic.php?t=139186 (needs translation)... Will post the fix (if found...) Not a big fan of Facebook either... Best regards, Paul...

Hi Paul, I was going to ask your location but I see from the French site that you are in Ireland. Years ago I would send these boards out for repair but the guy who did them retired and his business closed. There is still somebody in the UK who claims to do repairs but the website I saved has either expired or been hacked. His brother was on here trying to flog a jukebox a few months ago jukeboxaddicts.proboards.com/thread/4157/sale and has left some contact details (contrary to forum rules lol) - you better get there quick before Marty moderates it! Alternatively, he has also been on our British Jukebox Forum and left a contact number for the brother who does the repairs. If you wanted to contact him, just say and I can PM you the contact number he left. Norman.

Dear Paul, I can't help on the error problem neither. But you're welcome to post as well in our forum at forum.jukebox-world.de/list.php?1. The forum is mainly kept in German, but posting in English is fine. There are some NSM experts members, so maybe one of them can help. Hildegard
