Seeburg 201 - Bent Cancel Arm

I m going through the TSR6 receiver in my 201 and I noticed a bent arm on the dual pricing unit.  It  is Part 27 "Cancel Arm Assembly" and it looks like it kicks down the subtract ratchet wheel.  It looks like it was done on purpose.  Is there a reason for this?  Should I bend it back?

I think you answered your own question. They bent the arm for free play.
