Lpc1 skipping at the end of tracks

Several of of my records started skipping towards the end of the track. Would that be from a warn needle? Does the pressure need adjusted? Or something else?

The most likely cause would be stiff tonearm wire, or a missing or misadjusted trip switch counterbalance spring.

Another cause can be a binding tonearm (possibly from a lubrication issue) or obstruction, or the 'pickup balance' is out of adjustment.
