A little daunted with the tedious process to replace grill "cloth"on my HF100R Seeberg,although being handy at detail work,can there be a safe effective way to clean it w/o removing?No tears in fabric just grime and a few stains.

Well, I really don't think there are any fabric grill cloth cleaning tips. Anything you do runs the risk of making the cloth worse than it is presently. Like painting the mechanism, you may have to bite the bullet on this.
The process to replace the cloth isn't too bad... The hardest part will be applying the new grill cloth evenly. There is a fair amount of disassembly required, but it's pretty easy stuff. |
