just got this machine and was testng and found back cancel button doesn't work.
Cancel /service at turntable works. Ordered manuel.
Any ideas??
Does anybody know what type bulb goes on top behind selector buttons?.Looks like a small t5?
Also looking for a nice set of replacement buttons.

Is the button connected and/or does the button work? You can use a meter set to continuity or ohms to check the button contacts out of circuit (disconnected from the computer). When connected I believe it should go between the cancel and common terminals, if memory serves.
Under lighting specs, my R-87 book sez the doors use a fluorescent 36" T-8 30W bulb, the control panel uses a 21" 13W bulb, the credit window uses an LED, and the "flashing lights" are T-1 3/4 Sub Miniature 14V lamps.

The miniature T5 lamps are GE#73.

I found a broken wire at the plug that goes to mech,bottom left.
My light is apparently missing a starter as per parts catalog.
Someone removed the whole assembly. (socket)
