After a complete overhaul/install of the mech on my HF100R it performed well with great sound for 3-4 records. It's now experiencing an issue on the needle run out area of the 45.As it starts to run out the arm kicks back into and across the last approx.10 seconds of the record(ouch) and repeats the run out action.I had to adjust the needle landing prior to this issue as described on page 2153 of manual and was successful with that adjustment.Attempted pick up return adjustment on pg 2154,now it seems only the b side is functioning correct on run out.Have not went past that stage so far.Detent lever and pick up release adjustment next?

Something is most likely impeding the tone arm.
The most likely cause would be stiff tonearm wire, or a missing or misadjusted trip switch counterbalance spring.
Another cause can be a binding tonearm (possibly from a lubrication issue) or obstruction, or the 'pickup balance' is out of adjustment.
