Pins on pinbank are not popping out when a selection is made. Have anyone experienced this and can provide suggestions to fix? Help is appreciated! Thanks!

Pins on pinbank are not popping out when a selection is made. Have anyone experienced this and can provide suggestions to fix? Help is appreciated! Thanks! This problem exists when the mouse that travels back and forth to select the pins is either not working due to no electrical impulse getting to coil to move the pins out or the small rod that contacts the pins is gummed up and not moving freely when the electrical impulse activates the coil. First check to confirm the coils are being electrified. If they are then clean the rods that push the pins when when the coils on the mouse are activated. Should solve this problem.

Sorry, but this answer makes no sense to me.
There is nothing in a Seeburg pinbank that travels back and forth to 'write' a selection.
Furthermore, there are no rods that push the pins to make a selection.
Maybe you are talking about canceling a selected pin?
And what the heck is a mouse? (do you mean a frog?)
BTW, I hate the term 'frog'. Can't we call it what it is?... a 'contact block'.

Marty you are right , I was confusing the cancelling of the pins with the pins being brought out by the electro- magnet method. Getting too old and brain doesn't compute as fast as it should and been a while since I worked on Seeburgs. I'll try to stay in my lane in the future.
