Rock-Ola Mystic not picking up B sides

Hey all,

So I have a Rock-Ola Mystic that I have been restoring recently that is now in working order except it will not pick up B-Side records. I completely disassembled and rebuilt the gripper arm mechanism and I am wondering if there is something I did that makes it so it will only pick up the A-side and not the B-side. I have attached videos of the pickup process for both A and B sides. You will notice a difference at the shaft for the gripper arm which doesn't appear to be pulling in the same way when a B side is played.

Can anyone help me understand why this is happening?

I looked through the manual for my Rock Ola 414S, which seems to have the same mechanics, and can't see what could cause what you are experiencing. I did notice that it looks like the shaft is hanging up briefly before it snaps intp place, like there is something it is catching on. I also noticed the same hangup on your A side video, but on the other shaft end. Could it be that the set screw on the non-gripper end shaft is catching?
