Greetings, and thanks for allowing to join the forum....
I picked up a Rock-Ola 490 and removed the Control Unit so I could inspect the board (battery damage is low)... The problem is, I'm not 100% sure I got the two boards back into the enclosure correctly (didn't take enough pics !).
There is a strip of copper flashing that lays across a long ground area, it also appears to keep the front panel snug. BUT ! it appears to also be in contact with one side of the row of small ceramic caps (solder side). Did I do something wrong when putting things back together ?? ...![]()
