I was just reading over a service manual for the SCC9 and TSA9. On the TSA section says for H5 units use alternates parts marked with **. On the SCC9 it says for 50Hz units use alternate parts. What ar H5 or 50Hz units? Would these be European versions that use different transformers? I hadn't noticed this in the SHP and DCC manuals I've looked at.

Just looked at other manuals and the same thing is there though worded differently depending on the manual. Just curious what it means or what the differences are.

First off--there are no SCC-9 or TSA-9 MANUALS--If you are reading the schematics for those units "H" is "Hi voltage" (230-240), and "5" is 50 Hertz. Domestic USA, models are all "L-6", or in later cases, wired for 120 "L" voltage, 60 Hz. Newer units also have provisions for either voltage, and are 5/6 transformers. Ron Rich
