Hello
Trying to sort out the fluorescent light wiring cables on my AMI I200. they were messed with so i cannot figure out the correct connections. Is there any official diagram or anybody has one to help? the manual is not very informative. Thanks

Just google "inductive ballast fluorescent circuit". You should be aware - especially depending on your location, which you haven't disclosed - that these older fluorescent installations are becoming increasingly difficult to maintain and you might want to consider LED lighting for example.

Thank you for the reply, I know the principle. it is just i don t know how the wiring goes from the ballast to the frontmost lamp, as well as the power outlets passing from the the three ballasts which seem to have been once connected together at one of their leads.I have replaced the high voltage leads with new modern ones and so on but something seems nt to be correct. Anyway thαnks

I don't specifically remember how the "I" is wired but from the 120VAC, one side (let's say Live) will go to the ballast. This is the only place where the three ballasts could be wired together. The other side of the ballast will connect to one of the fluorescent tube electrodes. The 120VAC Neutral (again they are maybe looped) will connect to the other tube electrode and the starter will connect across the two electrodes.

Thank you Norman, yes this is the generic way, anyway i found a way that they all work. One of the ballasts was formerly burnt so it was modified with an independent one. I dont know if this is the original wiring way but they work. In my country (Greece) i can find spares so i plan on keeping it that way. it seems also that 2 of the lamps are original made in USA and UK respectively and still in working condition. Thanks
