Hi Guys! I am brand new to jukebox’s, and just bought my first one about a month ago! It’s a 1972 Wurlitzer 3600 that I got in non running condition. I’ve been able to fix and get it running so that it takes a credit, you can make a selection, the carousel will spin and choose that record and it’ll place it on the turntable and will return it back, and reset itself. However, the main problem I am having is the turntable itself won’t spin. We took apart the motor and completely cleaned and ruled out it being a problem. It will run when you either “bump” the flywheel or touch the plunger in the back right of the carousel, but we haven’t been able to make it run on its own. I would appreciate all the help and if I simply overlooked something or it’s more complex. We’ve spent hours looking online and at the jukebox and we are out of ideas. Thanks so much!
