Wurlitzer 3600 magic

greetings of the day to all Juke friends,
I have an interesting issue with a Wurlitzer 3600.
Until Wednesday it was playing fantastically.

Then suddenly it had a different thought.

With or without credits pending the carrousel suddenly starts to turn out of the blue!

No selection pin is coming up, nor a selection is made.

When I make a selection, during this phase, the machine works normal again and stops after playing the record.

Leaving the machine on for some time, the above repeats itself.

I've measured all the relays and contacts, swapped the equal ones, jiggled all the wires and cleaned all the plugs, but still this magic happens.


Hope that someone has some guidance for me to stop the magic :-)

thanks a lot for the suggestion.
Apologies for the late reply. Traveling :-(

I've checked the switch and looks fine on the adjustment.
Measured the function of the switch without the wiring attached, seems all normal.
However lucky me, before I can test the "magic", another problem started.
When making a selection, the whole process initiates until the carousel starts to rotate, three-four teeth further it locks up again and blows the auto fuse on the front of the mechanism. My hair was already grey...but now even more!
Any tips?
