Hi
I have had this jukebox for over 33 years had now have an issue with the keyboard selections. The keyboard was serviced in '91, so I know it is probably time for issues. I had the pinbank serviced to alleviate that issue.
What can I do to determine why only the "even" "K" selections are not working?
Does someone have a schematic and procedure to test continuity when selections are pressed via Ohm meter?
Thanks in advance!!

Anyone know where/how I could start troubleshooting this issue?
Thanks!

jukeboxmarty -
The pinback was serviced just 3 weeks or so ago and he promised that the pinbank was working 100% with his selector. it's just the K2,4,6,8,10 that is not working. Thanks for the service manual - I have a hard-copy, but somewhat hard to de-cypher when it comes to the selector. I will look for the pinout of the selector and see if I can get an ohm meter for connectivity or whatever procedure that the selector is sending the pulse to the pinbank.
Thanks Again!

There is no common factor suggesting a single failure to cause the K2,4,6,8,10 selections not to work (as long as all the other selections are working).
Are you sure the pinbank pins are not being set for these selections?
Are you sure ALL of the other pins are being set properly?

I just picked up another selector for the "B" model and now getting only K2,K4,K6,K8,K10. could this be a wiring issue? do you know how I could test continuity to the K2,4,6,8,10 on the connector (via Ohm setting) to see if there is a wire problem? I just recalled this from your other post. It says you are only 'getting' K2, K4, K6, K8 and K10. So which is it? Are these selections working or not working?

All are working except K2,4,6,8,10
"it's just the K2,4,6,8,10 that is not working."
sorry for the confusion, my fault.
if i move the pins on the pinbank for k2,4,6,8,10, the selections work and I was told from the guy who serviced the pinbank that all selections worked via the keyboard.
thanks, -Just8

I was told from the guy who serviced the pinbank that all selections worked via the keyboard. I guess if he said it it's true.
I hope you get it working.

Reaching out to anyone that knows how to test the contacts on the end-cable of the selector or the pinback to see if the solenoid pulls (pushes) the k2,4,6,8,10 pins? this way, I can verify the pinbank is 100% like he said - then troubleshoot the pushbutton selector.
Any troubleshooting steps would be appreciated!
Thanks,
