The G-80 that a coworker of mine gave me recently started with an odd issue this morning. When selecting selection 7 the selection key would make a noise and accept a credit but the turn table would not move. I found that the pin was stuck so following the manual I cleaned it with a lint free cloth. The selection now works however the turn table will not stop scanning. I have checked pins and cycled power but it still keeps perpetually scanning. Any thought on what I may have bumped when cleaning the pin?
After looking at the manual I find on page 14 that the starting switch on the left side of the turntable is out of whack the top bar is constantly making contact with the middle bar. Not sure how to adjust pretension on these to get proper spacing.

It looks like you found your own answer.
The bar that actuates the start switch, or the start switch contact blades must have been bent, or there is something blocking the bar's movement.
Hopefully you have this sorted out.
