I have Wurlitzer Americana 3100. I have been working. Out a few kinks on this and been working for last few weeks with no issues. Now, it will go to load a record, set it in place, the needle goes to touch the record then backs off. Loads the next, and same thing. It will do this for as many songs as I select. Where do I start?

The problem could be located in faulty tone arm cut-off switch (trip switch), if the cancel button is closed for any reasons (same if a remote volume control is connected) and probably if the mute switch does not open properly.

I had adjusted the trip switch, being the track would play and the needle would sit and get stuck on record. So I got the tracks to play fully and then move to next record. Now it may play a few records and then it will start with the load and quickly unload. Could it still be trip switch? or start looking at cancel button. Can i bypass the cancel button to see if that is the issue?
