Hi Folks, I have a brown 477, which my friend and I have been restoring, we have the internals working and it is now time to get the outsides looking good. The poor thing was in a neighbors garage for 30 odd years and has gotten very dirty and a little bashed in the process. What I am needing help with is the material covering the speaker grills. It is very faded, terribly dirty and unfortunately is damaged in places. I would like to keep the original look, so was wondering if there is anywhere I could source original or reproduction material with the original geometric pattern? preferably UK, as that is where I am, but would be interested in any leads anywhere. Any advice would be gratefully received Thanks PS Also any advice on how to revive existing cloth would be welcome.

Hi Peter, Some plain speaker cloth and paint it? You can find tutorials on-line on fabric painting. That's the best I can come up with, I'm afraid.
Norman.

Thanks for the feedback, wish there was a place that did them, but as you suggested it might be time to get the paint brushes out.
