Hi all, i like to adjust the tonearm springs of my Seeburg LPC1 because i got some new needles and at the moment the pressure is 8 gram. So the pressure is to high and i would set them to 4 gram. Are there some basic settings of the springs or tips en tricks? I tried it and got a little frustrated because having the one side perfect the other side is to high. So i was looking for the perfect balans but could find it so i put the A side of the single at the correct pressure so i could still use the jukebox. Hopefully there is someone who did this a couple of times so he can help me. Thank you. Greetings Jos

8 grams does seem too heavy.
As you discovered, as you adjust one side... the other side is affected.
The tonearm springs are probably not correct for your LPC.
Someone may have used springs from an earlier Seeburg that have a much greater force.
New springs which will allow the correct tracking force are readily available.
