Hi, I just picked up an old LPC1 for cheap and am going to try and restore it. I noticed that the previous owner removed the income totalizer and remote stepper unit. Are these necessary for the jukebox to operate or can it converted to free play without them?

Neither is required, and both units were only supplied as an option.

I believe you would only need the remote stepper if you wanted to hook up a wall box.

Thank you for the responses. After digging a little deeper into the service manuals it looks like I’m also missing the coin slug rejector, income totalizer as I mentioned before, and the motor that mounts to the album pricing unit. I’m assuming at the very least I need the coin slug rejector and the motor for the pricing unit to get the credit function back to working order? I can’t figure out what the motor on the pricing unit is for. Some of the APU1’s on eBay seem to come with them and some don’t. I apologize if these are newbie questions. I’m trying to research and read the manuals but feel like I’m missing a lot
