Hi. I have a Wurlitzer 1100 that powers up but I can’t get the records to play but I think a reason for that may be this one plug that is unplugged that I just don’t know what it should be plugged to - that I wanted to see if you may be able to answer a question about it. This pic isn’t from my machine but it makes it real easy for me to point out the wire that is unplugged. See on the inside of the machine, left side (when viewing from the back), all the way near the bottom and that’s the wire that is unplugged! On my Wurlitzer 1100 there are actually two shielded cables tethered together to the right hand side of the machine (if you’re looking at the machine from the front) and you open up the doors. There is a small shielded cable and a larger one. The smaller shielded cable goes from the tone arm assembly into a plug and that plug then leads the small shielded cable to eventually plug directly into the preamp. But its the larger shielded cable that is unplugged. That one seems to be connected from a switch underneath the mechanism board. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

Could it be the Mute Switch cable?
Cheers Gordon..
