Trying to get thing back operational. Powers up and mechanism moves back and forth. When pressing buttons for selection after 1 button is pressed shows reset light?

So we can assume you've gotten a Seeburg and can know it goes to RESET when you press the 1st button.
What we do not know is so much more, e.g. which model it is, if it ever worked since you own it, if somebody worked on it, the fault occured suddenly, if the jukebox sat for wquite some time in a barn, if you have service manuals and knowledge about jukeboxes, which number you press first, if you searched te froum for a similar problem already, if ..... I am sure others do have more questions too.
In short: How can a car mechanic help if he doesn't know what car in which condition you're trying to drive?

Sorry it is a Seeburg STD 4. It sat in the basement for several years before I moved it. I was able to get it to make selections when I first powered it up and lubricated the mechanisms. After I moved it again it no longer allows me to make selections just goes to reset after pressing the first button no matter which one I press.

Selection system not working properly I have very little experience with these things. Where is the tormat located at? What should I be looking for?

What should I be looking for? I'm not trying to be a smart aleck, but the first thing you should look for is a service manual.
The service manual will certainly help identify the placement of major components.
