Hello Addicts,
I have a 1987 Rowe-Ami R-91 CD jukebox.
Does anyone out there have any experience with the Pioneer M6 CD player that Rowe used in this jukebox.
This player uses a 6 CD Cartridge. When I finally got the R-91 playing records, I initialized the CD player
and it did select the CD, very slowly, and play, but after a short time stopped playing.
I don't think the problem is with the frame with sensors that mounts on the front of the player as I removed the player from the
R-91 and tried to use it on my stereo and it just select the CD than quits. It seems to be a mechanical issue more
than the actual CD unit.
Note: I purchased a used Pioneer M6 on eBay but it was in worse shape than mine.
If I can't get the CD player working, I think of trying to convert the R-91 CD back to a 200 play R-91.
