Hello! My jukebox addiction began about two years ago with a Wurlitzer OMT 100 CD machine. This one is pristine and is located in our "game room" where it gets tons of use daily but especially at parties. My good friend put it perfectly: "That thing has a gravitational pull." People can't stay away from it. It has a K99 amp and I have extended its functionality by attaching a set of outboard speakers (Jamo S809 which are a remarkably good match for the 1015's onboard speakers) as well as an input switch and bluetooth receiver on the back. I have blown the slow-burn fuses more times than I care to admit and now keep a number on hand for when the parties get rowdy.
I expanded last year with a Wurlitzer New York, NY -- another 100 CD machine -- in my garage. Good thing my wife and I kept our CD collection from the 90s and 2000s! This machine needed some TLC which it got from The Jukebox Repairman in MA, although it could still use some more. I will likely try to do that work and figure out those issues on my own (with help from folks here).
I am now very seriously in the market for a machine that plays 45s. I have my heart set on a Seeburg KD or KS200, but a 201 could also fit the bill. 200 selections are a must and something about those tail lights on the grill just do it for me. I will be attending the Chicago Coin-Op show in November and hope to find something there if not sooner.
