Hello everyone,
A long time I was'nt there, hope everything is ok for you.
I try to restaure a 2 Channels in beautifull condition.
I clean the keyboard, clean contact.
What's my prob?:
Service switch on RUN: nothing happend, not possible to make a selection, carriage don't move. Service switch on STOP: nothing happend (that's normal) Service switch on SCAN (i activate and release immediatly the switch, I don't keep it activate): carriage go for 2 go and return. During travel, if I push on the credit buton (just near the service switch) the substract solenoid is activated everytime I push the credit button, so I can stop the carriage with the credit button.
I check a lot of time all the plug, they're at the good place.
If anyone had an idea?
Thanks to all and have a good sunday.

Hi Cedric, The AMi I must be finished?
The operation of the scan switch as you have described above is all normal. On page 1377 of the manual there is a diagram of the power and control wiring. When a selection is made, a contact in the pricing unit (shown on the diagram bottom right as J504) closes to energise the "add" solenoid of the play control. That contact is maybe dirty or there is a bad connection somewhere. Do the pushbuttons release as normal?
Does your machine select OK when you do the battery test?
Norman.

Hello Norman,
AMI works (really really good) but it still under surveillance. I installed alarm beeps which accompany the gripper motor so that I can quickly react if the motor blocks. For the moment, everything is going very well. I finished the HP filter, this juke really fits very well. Thanks again for all your help Norman. I look on the 2 channels and I come back. Thanks

Hello Norman, If I understand well (sorry if if don't have well understand , you say that it's normal that when you push service switch on SCAN, carriage go directly for 2 go and return? If yes, how could you displace the carriage for example when you change your record? Impossible to make any selection, you can push easily the keybord, but nothing happen. Battery test, nothing happen. Thanks Norman

"If yes, how could you displace the carriage for example when you change your record?"
You use the credit button to stop the carriage where you wish - like you stated in your first post.
The usual procedure, when you have problems like you have, is to start with the battery test and ensure that the read-out and trip functions are OK. The potential problems are covered in the "battery trick" sticky post above.
Norman.

So, dear Norman. The juke works verry well. Some selections are not played, but I think that's a prob with the "pistons" under the tormat cause I see often some sparks (however, all is cleaned and lubricated by this side) what a huge breakthrough just with your message, thanks.

Thanks Norman, I'll read it and do the necessary. At no time did I think that the operation of a Seeburg could be different from my V200. And yet, it's written in the manual. As my wife said to me after I explained to her "you did like the majority of people who buy Ikea furniture, they try it then read the manual afterwards. Yes my love, you're right Have a nice day.

Hello Norman, Plungers are ok (thanks Ron sometimes 1 or 2 selections are missing, but with the second pass, they are taken, so just a little use and it will be fine. Just an observation/question: since yesterday, to make a selection, I must push before the number and after the letter. Before yesterfay, I was pushing first the letter and after the number. And also, since this "prob" started, when I put 1 credit, I can have 1, 2, 3 or more credit, it depend it's random. I cleaned all the contacts inside the credit unit, but no change. If you have an idea Have a nice end of day.

Hello Normand and everyone, I post this in any case of that can help someone in the same situation. In fact, my keyboard is actually on a table, and not in the juke, and that's the prob! The bar that slides and connects the letters was slowed down because it was rubbing against the table. This is simply what caused the problem of having to first press in the numbers, and then press in the letters. Once again a prob who wasn't a prob Thanks again.
