Question about cartridge ground bridging

Hi my Regis stereo amp had the usual round plug that has ground bridged at amp I believe?
I had it rebuilt with rca plugins but not sure if the grounds are bridged or not so if I bridge the cartridge grounds and the amp end is bridged would this cause hum?

Why don't you look in the amp and see how it's connected? No it shouldn't cause hum.
