Greetings,
Can a CCA Stepper/Relay be used on 100 selection box? I understand that a CCA stepper is designed for 200 but can it be hooked up to 100 selection box? If so, what are the limitations, if any?

Hi Neal,
The CCA stepper is not suitable for 100 selection Continentals because on the 100 selection carousel, every second slot is populated compared to the 200 selection unit. For example, if you make selection A3 on a 100 selection Continental, it's pushing the selection pin that would be at position A5 on a 200 machine.

Actually, the real reason it doesn't work is because a 200 selection machine is arranged in blocks of 20 (eg A1 - A20 etc) whereas a 100 selection machine is arranged in blocks of 10 (eg A1 - A10 etc). So on a 200, the next sequential selection after A10 is A11 but on a 100, the next sequential selection after A10 is B1. I knew it didn't work, just a bit confused about why!
