Issue I am having is when playing a record on either side the record will loop at the same spot no matter the record. Prior to changing the tone arm springs and varco cartridge the records played through. Is there something I am overlooking.
Seeburg m100b with Victory Glass 350 cartridge. tried the 3-4lb. springs and a set of new stock springs.
I might try swapping the old springs and non working varco cartridge back in to test to see if it plays through to return the record back to the rack. Not seeing an issue and everything seems to freely move. Any suggestions are appreciated.

When you changed the cartridge, did you do the arm balance adjustment (page 2163)? Apologies if that was already detailed in the VG instructions!
Norman.

Actually no... I will give that a shot. Sounds like a solid lead. I must have paged right past that one.

Gave that a shot ended up with the same results. I am going to swap all the original stuff back on and see what happens just for piece of mind... If I get the same result I probably need to give that tone arm assembly a good detailing and start with step one and work though the book to the end.
So darn close to getting all the mechanical away.
