Working on my trashcan, and trying to re-lamp the plastics. The manual calls for #81 frosted bulbs. I'm able to find plenty of non-frosted, but can't source a supplier for frosted ones. I got some incandescent bulbs and put them in the sand blaster to frost them. While it 'kind of' works, I destroyed quite a few bulbs by hitting them too long. I've found some LED bulbs, but they don't have a dome on them. The ones that do are $10.00 a pop, and I need 28, so that's not going to happen. Does anyone have a source for frosted bulbs?

As far as I know there is no source for frosted #81 bulbs any longer - unless one has old stock. We made a small production many years ago, but those are sold already and the company does not exist anymore.
So either you go with clear #81 lamps or you try to add a kind of diffuser foil (filter foil) somehow to make them not shining that bright.
