Been working on this box for awhile and thought we had it all worked out. replaced all parts including memory wheel and it played perfect except for one little quirk. It always showed the machine was playing the A side or the 100 side of the selection even when it played the B or 200 side. It played the right record but showed the wrong number on the display. No Problem, I can live with that. Today I started it and it played the wrong selection then it started playing the entire rack of records one at a time (just the A side). After 15 straight songs I stopped it. Anyone have any ideas? This one is being a real pain. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Bill, Didja read the sticky, at the top of this subject--probably your answer ! If not, the memory chip is gone. Try resetting the memorac.

Update on the R-81. turned it off for about hour, went back and turned it on, played a random selection, started rotating and hasn't stopped since. ignored selections and kept turning. I mean the carousel is turning as if it were seeking a record it can't find.
