Hi,
I'm in the midst of a tough repair of a wurlitzer 2000 junction box. Replacing old caps but mostly finding bits and pieces missing or removed from the seller years ago.
I have a main issue with a 10 ohm resistor that is broken/missing near one of the capacitors. Searching the net I could only find a very low resolution of what this area should look like and it seems to include a cable of some sorts that I sure miss.
Could anyone be so kind as to take a photo of their complete working wurlitzer 2000 junction box inside please and send it over ?
thank you kindly, Nick.

Hi Nick, Is there a junction box number on that unit--if so, is it possible it is used in another model ? Getting someone to remove it from a working phono, is probably a "no-no--". You might check with some of the used parts suppliers listed in our FAQ's ?? Ron Rich

Nick, since you posted this @ the FB Phonoland page and seem to have a schematic, why don't you just trace it out. That resistor appears to have burned up and the two leads separated by someone "tinkering". Do an ohmmeter check of the existing cap there and see if it is shorted. Replace it anyway.
If a polarized capacitor is there and is original, that is what will work. If you are concerned, just finish the rest of the rebuild, leave that cap disconnected, hook things you and connect your meter across where the cap would be connected. You should be able to confirm the type and polarity of current there while trying various functions such as selecting from the keyboard.
