New resistors seem to be extremely small compared to the old ones in these 60-70s phonographs. If the specs match should you worry about the physical size? For instance a 2watt seems to be the size of an old .5watt. Should you size up then and go with larger wattage to get better heat dissipation or just ignore the physical size as long as specs match?

Stephen, In most instances, the new smaller size is fine. I have been told, in the past by those more educated then me, that there are some instances when TYPE ( or construction) may be critical, but I don't think that applies to "jukeboxes" ?? Ron Rich
