Someone had a Seeburg Background Machine (BMC1) for sale locally. It looks really nice and if I had a place to put it I would buy it. I've had a couple through the years. I checked to see if anyone had a web site dedicated to these very looong playing machines. If I remember they are 16-2/3 RPM records with a 2" center hole. This is the web site: seeburg1000.com/ This model has the clear plastic cover and I always thought they were quite attractive (of course, that's just me).
The web site has some short snippets of different music types that were available on those odd "slow" RPM micro-groove records.

I just picked up a nice Seeburg 1000. Anyone know how much it is worth?

Seeburg1000.com plays Seeburg 1000 music all the time. Very enjoyable.
