Hi Ron and All, Here in Toronto we have been experiencing Florida like weather, HOT and HUMID! I've been toughing it out in my garage though, getting a break from this on Thursday. I'd like to bench test a mech, have it plugged into the control center but it doesn't seem to want to scan when I move a pin, do I need anything else plugged into the WSR7 to bench test? Thanks

Mauro, Well iffin you looked at the schematic, you just might see the "service switch" is needed to energize the play control relay-- ? Ron Rich

Arhg Ron, You got me again! I thought about the service switch but never thought of looking at the schematic! I'll do that now and see what pins I need to jump Thank you

Well, still no luck. I consulted the schematic and it looks like pins 2 and 3 of J8 (service switch socket) need to be jumped to simulate the service switch in the on position. I usually check the mechs while in the machine but the box is some distance away. I have the mechanism and the control center on my bench and have put the jumper in but still doesn't scan when I move a pin. If I activate the play relay with my fingers it scans perfectly. What am I missing?

Hi Mauro, The other half of the service switch---I don't have access to a schematic here, but re-call there are two jumpers needed-- Ron Rich
