Hello all, im new to the forum and owning a jukebox. We recently got a Seeburg 222 and its been working ok until a few days ago, now when we turn it on the record mechanism wont move back to its right most seated position that it normally does. The eject button in the back clicks but does nothing. The scan button on the inside clicks but does nothing. The mechanism doesnt have a record in it but it is spinning constantly. The unit does have a free play unit in it that we tried bypassing to no avail... Any ideas? Thanks for your patience, im having a hard time describing this correctly will learn as I go

Hi Erie, PLEASE, read, "Hi Newbies" and other sticky (red marked) posts in our FAQ's section above ! Is the tone arm "locked" or free to go toward the turntable ? Is the record clamp arm in the open, or clamped position ? BTW--that button on the rear is NOT an "eject" button--you do not ever want that, or any other coin-op phono, to "eject" a record, as that usually results in a broken record, and indicates a serious problem with the phonograph ! ("RE-ject", or "cancel") button is the proper name for it) Ron Rich
