Circuit Tracing

Hello all,

I'd like to delve further in to the circuits of the amps and controllers on various machines, currently mostly Seeburg.  Are their any recommendations for using either circuit tracers or oscilloscopes?  It's been 30 years since touched a scope but I'm guessing a 30 year old scope would be more usable than a newer digital one.  Any recommendations on what to look for?

Hi Stephen,
It's been at least 40+ years since I had access to a scope-- other then tracing signal in an amp, which I do with a digital meter, I have had no use for one. If I know what "a circuit" is supposed to be doing, I can usually figure out why it ain't co-operating ! (spankings do NO good here--I've tried !) Ron Rich
