NSM Festival ??

Hello all,

I am a newbie with jukeboxes, have been involved with Pinball machines and a few slot machines.  Recently acquired a NSM festival 45 RPM jukebox.  Understand the NSM machines have an ES number somewhere, so far I have yet to locate an ES number on this machine.  The unit powers up. the amp appears to work ok, can hear scratching when the remote volume controls are moved.  The controls allow the selection of record number XXX, but the record mechanism never moves.  All power supply LEDs are lit, no blown fuses.  Open to ideas as to where to look or what to try.  Previous owner said the unit was working until a storm one night, not sure how significant a storm might be, but thought I'd mention it....  Greatly appreciate any suggestions or ideas of things to try.

I don't work on NSM, won't work on NSM's,--that being said--Please read the stickies in the FAQ's section here. I would ASSUME from what you have written, that the ES system thinks the mechanism is in the "play position". My basis for this is the "scratching" you hear, when moving the controls. I ASSUME, that it would not do that unless un-muted-- Ron Rich

Thank you to both of you, you've helped me to ID the exact model which is step #1. Plan to contact Hildegard and Oliver to get a manual and drawings. Looking forward to digging into this project and being able to ask "good" questions when help is needed. Appreciate your willingness to help and be patient with a newbie.....

Hello, not sure if your sorted now but i would say the control and credit unit needs checking by the experts.
