In 1991, I wrote a manual on repairing the Ristaucrat S45 Tabletop Jukebox. People all over the Internet have copied it and are SELLING it! I only sold about 20 manuals over the past 27 years.... Some of these people, I contacted and asked to quit selling the "book" I wrote.... They didn't.... so click on this link: www.dropbox.com/s/3tdiajjon5kwwkp/Ristaucrat%20Manual%20complete.pdf?dl=0You may download all 38 pages free of charge & share with anyone who needs the manual. Why I wrote this book: In 1990, I bought approximately 50+ Ristaucrat S45 tabletop jukeboxes in various states of disrepair. I restored around 12 & sold them at the Gatlinburg Jukebox show in 1991. I wrote the book because all the S45's had the same problems. This book walks you through the repair steps..... Along with all the jukeboxes, I got a lot of printed material, many, many S45 spare parts.... SO... don't PAY anyone else to buy a copy of my book... I now give it to everyone for free (just to spite these people profiting off my work all these years).. The book lists Germantown, TN as my home, I moved away in 2002.

Ron, is that why I've seen your name on Amazon?

Hi Stephen, No--that's legit--Collector Book Store buys them from me, and re-sells them there and on eBay-- Ron Rich

I acquired an s45 that looks like it will need more restoration than I am capable of doing. Complete except tonearm (and dustcover). Is anyone in need of parts, or have parts and can restore this unit? Thanks, rtabert@juno.com

I got one of these S45 jukeboxes from ebay years ago and just took it out of storage. I plugged it in but nothing happens: no lights, dropping a coin does nothing, it's dead. I'm wondering if there is an on/off switch somewhere? Any advice would be appreciated!

I have one of these jukeboxes and also the wonderful free manual that David Kelly provided. Is there anyway to get in contact with him or anyone who can restore my jukebox in working condition?
Thanks, Pat Kagi patkagi@yahoo.com

Pat,
Thanks for the link. I had a S-45 I bought off eBay about 20 years ago and still haven't touched it. I'm sure your book will come in handy. BTW, my main home and collection is in Olive Branch, MS, just across the state line form your old home in Germantown!

I do not restore Ristracrat S45 jukeboxes anymore... I have tons of NOS parts (in storage... hard to get to) all parts are for the S45 model
