Hello everyone , my princess was struggling for a few months to select records then it stopped selecting altogether only turning the records around ounce back to start position, now after looking inside the manual scan switch will not scan and it doesn't scan when selecting records either.
So I probably have 2 issues ?
Records can not be selected
And the scanner does not work
I'm not sure what to look for all the wires seem good.
Can anyone suggest probable cause and how to fix? I live in Berkshire if anyone knows a good servicer that can be trusted?

Done.
Update the thing that holds the records does turn now .
If I flick the letter and number on the big wheel thing inside the machine it will play the record .
So I think it must be a problem with the receiver from the buttons ? Either its buggered or it needs a good clean ? Any suggestions?

OK, I'll bite! The first requirement is to get yourself that item that has lots of pages between two covers (service manual). In there you will find diagrams to lead you through each process of the selection process. Before you can make a selection, you need to establish what Ron Rich will give you if you use the correct terminology (credit)! Finally, there are a number of Rock-Ola Princesses - find the exact model number. If the data plate is missing, you can identify it from the pictures here www.jukebox-world.de/Forum/Archiv/Rock-Ola/Rock-Ola-Bilder-Uebersicht.htmNorman.
