Rockola 1454 motor noise

Hi
I am new to this forum but am a little concerned about the amount of noise coming from the gripper arm motor, it didn’t appear to make as much noise as this before, I notice on listening to some boxes on YouTube they appear quieter
I have checked and lived the gripper assembly which is very smooth and free
Any ideas what I can do to make it quieter

Please read, and comply with our "rules" in the introduction section.
As for judging how much "noise" you hear on your phono as compared to any YouTube's, I don't think there is a way. #1. Which brand motor is in your phono--which brand motor is in the YouTube one ? 2. How close is the camera (mic) to the phono on YouTube ? You can loosen that motor and run it without powering the gripper--If quiet, and you have dis-assembled it and cleaned up the gear box, greased it, and oiled the motor--Has the gripper assembly itself, been oiled--with 20 wt. ND oil ? Ain't nothing else can be done (Did you read the sticky posted here on grippers ?). Ron Rich

Will run the motor whilst disconnected an see, as fo make and model I have no idea and am assuming it’s the original item which was
