Anyone into these Seeburg jukeboxes knows that that these T needles are quite expensive. I was wondering if one could buy just the tips? Was thinking maybe i could attache it myself or have a jeweler do it. Any ideas?

I wouldn't try it--but my eyes are not that good--Re-tipped needles are available from MFFE -- ( See FAQ's for address ) so the tips MUST be available--somewhere--

My needles are still good but I'm dreading the day that I'll need to replace them. I'd like to pick up an extra set or two eventually just because I figure they'll just get harder and harder to find the farther along we go.

Well, whatever you do don't get conned into buying genuine Pickerings that were NOT made for the Seeburg cartridge. If you do, you will slide them in ONCE. As you do so, you will hear a clank--that will be the sound of plastic on the cart. splitting. The non Seeburgs have slightly "rounded" areas at the slide in area--easy to spot, if you are looking at them. Ron Rich

The 'new' needles/styli from the 'jukeboxman' are as good as the originals. (the previous ones were not very good). I have replaced 4 sets and they are all much louder and better sounding.

Sorry, I dis-agree with that statement--IMHO,they ARE much better the most of the previous after market types, but are not quite as good as the original Pickerings. I find them to be MUCH more sensitive to needle pressure, as are the new replacement mono-stereo compatible, "red head" type. They are the best obtainable today. Ron Rich
