Rockola 477 turntable stopped

Hi everyone i have just come accross this forum while trying to find help fixing my 477 so any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
    Everything seems to be working except the turntable? Carousel spins, record is picked up and dropped on turntable but not spinning. The amps are working and the motor is free and can be spun by hand and  the record can be heard through the speakers.
    I have checked all the fuses i can see and i also have the manual but can not find this fault "turntable not spinning"

Hi Did you ever resolve the turntable issue? We have just developed the same issue but can't see the previous advice to resolve it. Any help greatfully recieved.
