When the reject switch activates at the end of a record or when the cancel button is pressed a pop comes through the speaker. is this because of the muting contacts not in proper adjustment? thanks in advance Norman

Norman, "Original" --whatz that ? Depending on the model, it could be anywhere from the rear reject switch itself, or anywhere that line runs-- Ron Rich

Hi Norman, That may or may not be "original". Depending on the model number, it may have had a "blackhead" originally installed in it. If changing the cap does not help--try switching the cart. wires at the terminal under the tone arm. Ron Rich
