Hi all Friend has this box and it has stopped playing the correct side of record.he has a service instr booklet but no mechanism guide. Been searching but no luck. The tone arm doesn't seem to shift left or right to be able to play the correct side of record. I have put a few drops of oil on all the pivots points but no luck. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Andy

Hi Ron Above post sounded better till I re read it lol Motor direction is correct for A or B side it's the tone arm can be on wrong side of disc causing it to play backwards or catch on edge of record. Hope that makes better sense Thanks Andy

Hi Andy, If you look on jukebox-world.de, you will find manuals for sale - always a good investment! You will also see there a few replacement mechanism parts - that will give you a massive clue as to where to look for issues (these are the parts likely to be broken!). There are some manuals at nsmjukeboxmanuals.yolasite.com which are OK if all you're looking for is rough guidance; the quality isn't particularly great. Norman.

Hi Andy, This is why we strongly urge people (in our FAQ's section), not to spend money on "online" manuals-- seldom are they correct/complete ! Contact someone listed and get a mechanism manual--- This sounds as if it is strictly a mechanical issue-- look for the cradle "shiftier" (link--actuator ??) Ron Rich

Hi Andy, It was a very lazy answer I gave you earlier! While I still encourage you to get the proper manual, the ESII service manual on Yola will give you as much detail of the mechanics of an NSM mech. as you are likely to get, including parts breakdowns. Part number 10 on page 46 is the pick-up shifting lever. Norman.
