Hi, Mike Boessen, Columbia Mo, member for a year or so.
I have packed up a bunch of tools and parts and headed to Arizona to try to get a rockola 1432 going for my Cousin. I asked him to get a service manual and he did but it doesn't have a schematic for the amp. Can anyone help me out? I only have a couple of weeks to try to pull this off.
Thanks!
Mike

Hi Mike,
Is it 1432 or 1434?
A 1434 schematic wiring diagram is available and should be included in a repro service manual. For model 1432 we were not successful in finding a wiring diagram so far for 20 years now or so. All those who usually have a lot of paper goods denied as well ever seeing one. So there might not be one available for 1432 - though I do not get the reason in that case.
Kind regards - Hildegard

Hi Hildegard, RockOla was not real good with "paperwork"-- I think, the two models are close enough to each other that either one's schematic, could be used-- Ron Rich

Hi Ron, Well, in general I think we have a wiring diagram of each model by itself (at least starting with 1422 up to CD models) - unless Rock-Ola officially referred to a previous one. E.g. for model 434 schematic, manual and parts list of earlier model 432 have to be used (too). In this "1432 case" I wonder that for the earlier model no schematic can be found so far. Did operators have to wait for another model to get one which is close? That does not make too much sense to me. Model 1432 was Rock-Ola's first model with 50 selections. It played 78 rpm records but could be converted to 45 or 33 rpm. www.jukebox-world.de/Forum/Archiv/Rock-Ola/R.O.1432.htmMeans, operators could not refer to earlier 1428. Mabe somebody else I have not asked yet and reading this can shed any light into this matter. Kind regards - Hildegard

Hi Hildegard, Perhaps--just perhaps--the 1432 worked so well, that no "paperwork" was needed ?? Ron Rich
