I recently picked up a Rockola Concerto 434. It seems that the tone arm can be easily removed from it's mount at the rear of the tone arm. Also not sure if it sitting at the right height because I swear I hear the cartridge dragging on the record after set down. Is there something missing to hold the tone arm post at a certain height at the rear.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi Jim, I don't know what holds down the tone arm on RO's, but I can't recall ever having them "lift up" ? You might check almost any later model parts manual ?? As for the needle rubbing the records--after market needle, genuine Shure? What is the needle pressure set at ?? Ron Rich

It appears that the rear if the arm is not as high as it should be but it clears the gripper arm.
