Your clutch yoke pin is frozen to the yoke, and or to the detent #2 lever, or the clutch yoke (long) pin block support, has come lose. Ron Rich Thank you Ron! I'm going to check these areas

Good news! Your suggestion about the clutch yoke pin frozen to the yoke was the exact problem. After removing the clutch I noticed that the yoke pin was almost completely stuck, could be moved with some force applied but yeah.. so after taking it apart and cleaning it it works perfect again!
Thank you so much for your help Ron!

So i had the same issue and with the great information i was able to accomplish the same result and free the pin! Thank You! My issue now is it loads the record i hear a faint pop and the turntable stops turning. if i give it a manual turn it will eventually start turning on its own and playing. what could be causing that?

What model phono do you have (PLEASE READ, the "Hi Newbies" post in our FAQ's section !)? Which brand motor is installed in it ? When was the last time it was PROPERLY oiled--using the correct oil ? Ron Rich

Hi, I am new to Jukebox and just got a LS3. Do not know the history but it needs some fixes for sure. Outside is in very good shape The biggest problem now is that it will only play the B side. If selecting an A side the needle will land and you here the start of music and then immediately ejects. Any suggestions where to start looking? I am waiting for the service manuals to start digging in deeper. ThankĀ“s

#1--- You can only HOPE your jukebox NEVER "ejects" records-- #2, if it is "ejecting" records, they usually end up non-playable. #3, If it REjects records on one side, it's usually because the clutch area is 1/2 quart low, on oil ! Ron Rich

Hello, I have a sunstar with the issue of picking record, getting ready to play and then rejecting. I have check some things out like the reject switches which are fine, I checked the tone arm magnetic reset that is fine, of course I checked the clutch which is not stuck. I physical watch the clutch engage up for picking the record then it goes to the center for playing and then jumps up to reject the record..Also I replaced both the 24v relays...what else am I missing unless it's a DCC issue..any ideas would be appreciated, thanks Dave

I just got a model 100B with this problem working with a LOT of help from Ron Rich and his excellent guide. You really need a copy if you are working on one of these models, and can find Howe to order at the beginning of this thread. In my case adjustments to the reject switch for the tone arm caused this problem as the switch was already tripped before the record played. I am grateful to have found this forum!!
