These motors have not been lubricated in over 5 years (at least) so I'm trying to decide whether or not to remove the motors, disassemble and lubricate them then reinstall or just try to lubricate them where they are. The magazine motor drags a bit at specific positions of the magazine but I'm thinking that is more likely to be the main shaft bearing (which I have lubricated and am seeing improvement). If I should try to lubricate them where they are, how in heavens name do you get oil into the lower holes without turning the entire box upside down? Something that I'm sure the experts here would frown upon very much! Additionally, how does one lubricate the Gear Assembly? I've included images of the motors and identified the holes for lubricating the felts. Ron, not sure you can but it would be great if we could upload more than three pictures in a post. I dunno what a good number would be but 4 would have been good here and saved me all the editing! Attachments:

I think if you want to do a "proper" job, you remove the motors - that way you can give them a decent clean. It's not actually difficult! Norman.

That, I shall do then! Any thoughts on lubricating them while installed?
