I have looked over the boards and although I find many references to 'Graphite Grease' which is recommended for lubrication where grease is called for I cannot find any recommendations as to brands or places to purchase such grease. I checked all local hardware and auto parts stores and no-one has any idea that graphite lubricant exists in grease form. There are plenty of dry graphite lubricants (anyone who has ever built a Pinewood Derby car probably still has some) but no 'grease' that I have been able to find. What I was able to find was 'CRC 05353 Brake Caliper Synthetic Grease' (see images). This is marketed as a synthetic grease for brake calipers. The labeling states that, 'CRC 05353 prevents caliper binding, vibration and corrosion.' The label further indicates that it, 'Contains molybdenum, PTFE and graphite for an extreme temperature range of -40°F to 400°F. Resists moisture and will not washout. Plastic & rubber safe. Use on metal to metal contact points and sliding surfaces.' This is as close as I can find to and 'grease' containing graphite. Perhaps someone can share some specifics on graphite grease and where someone such as myself might find this stuff. Thanks in advance! Attachments:

As stated in the FAQ's--"--any wet type graphite grease" will work. CRC makes a product called "Sta-Lube" Moly Graf, grease--looks to be the same stuff-- works fine --USE "sparingly" !! Ron Rich
