Hi Albert, What ever is either marked on the unit, or is as shown in the Service Manual-- MOST AMi's of that era, use a couple of 8/10 amp sb's, and an 8 amp main fuse--but I don't know for sure on that model ? so it's best to look--- Ron Rich

Thanks Ron, that's it. I saw a power supply for sale and close up picture clearly shows 8a 8/10a and 8/10a. In the right 8/10a fuse there was a 1a. I read it was ok because its hard to get a .8a. I replaced it and mech completed its functions and turntable stopped spinning till I made new selection. After about 7 good tries fuse blew again. I read that if turntable rails are greased and dirty it will put strain on the motor and fuse will blow. I cleaned rails nicely and now still fuse blows. ordered repair manual but again gotta wait a week for it to come. gotta get more fuses. will disconnect chain drive motor and see if it still blows fuse. Thanks for any insightful info you may have. Al

Hi Albert, I would not replace that 8/10 with a one amp in this case. That fuse size was increased, not because the 8/0 is hard to get, but because when the power supply gets older, and the motor gets dirty, it tends to draw slightly more current. Didja remove/clean/oil that motor-gear box ?? I don't believe the "rails" have too much to do with it ? 8/10 sloblo's are available "all over"--any good electronics store carries them, and I believe Granger does too ?--Ron Rich

Thanks Ron, I will stock up on them. wire's to the turntable crumbling and shorted. Working now and have to get selector buttons to work properly. ordering some cleaner too. I can really get going when repair manual gets here.
